Youth Ministries - click here for additional youth activities
Sunday School: We have Sunday School for our youth from pre-school up to and including 8th grade. Sunday School usually follows the first service. Please refer to the Calendar for specific times.
Confirmation: A two-year program where 8th and 9th graders learn what it means to be a child of God by studying the Bible, Small Catechism, as well as the Lutheran tradition. Adults can get involved by becoming mentors to help individual students with the memory work.
Vacation Bible School: A cooperative venture between LutherCrest Bible Camp, Zion Lutheran of Amor, and First Lutheran of Battle Lake. The one-week camp for K-3rd graders includes Bible study, arts and crafts, singing, recreation, worship, and more. Vacation Bible School for 2007 will be hosted by Zion. Adult Ministries
Adult Bible study meets Tuesday mornings for fellowship and study. Our focus is to learn how to apply the message of the Bible to our everyday lives.
We have a lively group where anything and everything is said! Even if you can come every now and then, that is okay as we usually don't have homework!!!

MOPS - (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a group designed to nurture every mother of preschooler(s) by meeting her distinct needs to the glory of Jesus Christ. Zion Lutheran of Amor is pleased to have a charter group to MOPS, International which reaches mothers from around the world.
In MOPS meetings, there is time for teaching, discussion, creative projects and presentations as well as developing a feeling of community and friendship among these women. This is a vital time for mothers to realize how God helps us be better mothers.
The meetings take place twice a month, from September
until May. There is childcare at the meetings, provided by the MOPPET Cuddlers,
while moms have a chance to enjoy hot coffee or tea and company. This is an
unique group and draws women throughout the community.

Rural Internship Program - Zion is very excited about our Rural Internship Program. We see ourselves as a teaching congregation, encouraging seminary students to consider rural ministry, through their year of internship.
Library
Generous donations and funds from an annual pancake breakfast were used to purchase the many books and videos that make up the Zion Library. The library is always open and operates on a self-checkout honor system.
