Zion Lutheran is a very friendly and active congregation that continues to steadily grow in membership.
We believe this is due in large part to the warmth and energetic participation of the congregation and our philosophy of welcoming strangers as we welcome friends.
Welcoming is not a one-time event, but rather an on-going process that allows our community to grow both in numbers and diversity.

What We Believe: Lutherans share a common faith with other Christians; we accept the same doctrines described in the New Testament and we accept the same ancient creeds. However, Martin Luther, the founder of the Protestant Reformation and the Lutheran Church emphasized "justification by faith alone," in his proclamation of the Word. "Justification by faith alone," means that we can be saved not through our own merit or works, but only by God's grace.
Zion Lutheran Church of Amor is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).

Zion's ministry and activities draws many new members. Becoming a member of a church is a wonderful and enriching experience. Joining a church means that you are accepting God's invitation to cultivate meaningful relationships, not only with God, but also with fellow members.
As a new member of Zion Lutheran, you will have sponsors who will walk with you as you become better acquainted with the church. Sponsors will first and foremost pray for you, for your continued relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord, and your involvement in the congregation.
